Michael Simon was born on the 29th of August in Hamburg. Very early he found his passion for music and for the displeasure of his parents also their record collection. In the age of 15 Michael went to a club for the first time in his life and got obsessed from the music and the Dj-ing. So he started to get involved in the whole subject of matter.Not much later the first Dj-bookings followed. On Events from friends Michael developed his skills until he got an offer to play in the legendary club Opera House. The owner of the club noticed his talent and booked him several times until he became resident Dj. Through this well known in-club Michael is getting more and more famous in and around Hamburg until he was present in all clubs. Offers from the most famous clubs ,where he was regular to hear, followed. The wish to produce an own record exists for a long time and so they decided to rent a studio. After a while Michael learn to program the studio equipment and he produced his first record do the right thing. The song, a cover of Redhead Kingpin and the F.B.I, was a hit and sold over 50.000 copies. The proceed where invested in an own studio.He further produced successful.Of corse the wish came to make music with other producers and Michael ,who was already not only known as a Dj , developed the project 'Soulforce'. Under this project name many club hits where composed up to remixes for Mary J. Blige , Lil Kim and Phil Collins. Following his passion House-music he met the talented vocalist and songwriter Terri B.She introduced Michael to Jerry Ropero. They decided to work together for the same reason.House! With his partner Jerry Ropero Michael produced the Ibiza hit 'Combo Cubano' and created a lot of tracks and remixes for labels like Ministry of Sound ,Subliminal Vendetta, Azuli ,Milk & Sugar,CR2 etc.until he produced his first single 2 be love in 2001 , what was successful worldwide. In 2006 Jerry and Michael made a track called 'home alone', wich was signed to Erick Morillos label Subliminal Records.In the same year they did one of their biggest records Ocean Drums what was played from almost every know Dj (Erick Morillo,Roger Sanchez..). The track reached the top position on Traxsource.One of the most important download sites for vocal house music.The latest track they did together was called 'berimbau',signed to Roger Sanchez label Stealth,and was played on Pete Tongs show on BBC Radio 1.The most important radio show in club-music history. In 2006 Michael became a member of one of the most successful bands in Germany called 'Scooter'. Scooter sold over 30 Million recordings and won over 80 Gold & Platinum Awards. In 2008 Scooters album entered the UK album charts on number 1 and knocked Music-Queen Madonna from the Top Spot! Scooter is the only german Group who ever reached the top position in the UK charts until now.This album sold over 500.000 copies only in Europe.The time between 2006 and now is the most successful in the period of Scooter. With sold out concerts worldwide,the most successful album in Scooters history,the biggest Scooter show in Hamburg with 20.000 guests and performances at the biggest and most popular festivals like 'Tomorrowland 2010', its not far-fetched to say Scooter is a living legend. But Michael's focus is still on the club music scene besides Scooter so he founded his own Label in 2012 and gave it the name 'Superlovemusic'.The sense behind it is to support the underground style of house and help young talented artists like ToiToi, Sambu and Simeone just to name a few. And of course the Dj-ing is not to forget.Michael is a very known and respected Dj since years and is still resident Dj since the club foundation of the 'Golden Cut' in Hamburg where he still lives.Besides his weekly residency he teamed up with the frontman of Scooter called '
